Description:

Student worker needed to assist Nutrition faculty with assignment grading, lab preparation, lab set-up, other duties as assigned. Also oversees reception area to assist with department operations when needed.

  • Position needed for Fall 2025 with the possibility of continuing in Spring 2026.
  • Those who could qualify for Federal Work Study are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Upper division nutrition practicum credit could also be earned. Please let us know if you are interested in this.

Qualifications:

  • Organizational skills and the ability to be dependable, to communicate with faculty, to be goal-oriented, and to be professional are very important in our shared office setting.
  • Must have completed NFS 1020 Scientific Foundations of Human Nutrition.
  • To grade for other nutrition course(s), must have completed that course.
  • Transportation necessary if filling the Foods Lab aid position.
  • Nutrition majors preferred. Both Allied Health and Dietetics students are encouraged to apply.

Please also include a short statement of why you desire the job and desire the work experience (no more than 250 words).If you are Federal Work Study eligible, please state that as well.
